Today has been a really special day.It started off not so good, we were suppose to be picked up at 7:30 but at 8:00 which is normal in Guatemala our driver shoud up in a honda civic for our family of 5 not to mention he had someone with him so 7 people in a very small car, so to stay the least it started off very stressful so on the way I just had to pray that the Lord would bring us peace and ease the stress of what could already be a stressful day. We were to see josie's normal doctor, do her DNA and see the embassy doctor.
Soon though the other passenger got out and caught the bus, thank goodness. we arrived at the Doctors office he wasn't even there again normal in Guatemala. but this is when the good stuff started. He told us he didn't even know he was suppose to see us today and he was busy at the hospital but he made time for us and was only apologizing to us, well we were just so thankful to him. Anyway come to find out he has been Josie's doctor from the beginning. He began to tell us how she was when she first come to him. She had very bad Ct scans and at that times was pretty unresponsive and he just didn't believe she would ever do very well. Well today he says he just can't believe she is the same baby. we told him well I guess your looking at our little miracle baby. he said yes your right! to us though it humbled us to know and realize how many times we felt God wasn't doing anything, well he was here with LuzElena healing her special little body, How greatful and humbled I am that he is bigger than us and sees past the right now and knows what is best for us.
And know our DNA is also done. And we as her parents got the privildge of doing the simple stuff that we some times take for granted, we had the privildge to take our baby girl to the doctor for the first time. and the first time of many from now on.
and just alittle cute note....after 3 doctors visits in one day see was not very happy and as the embassy doctor was checking her out I was holding her as he was examing her and she just reached out crying to her daddy, like papa (which see says so cute) help me!
Anyway we thank the Lord that he did provide us peace today and has blessed us with 3 of the most special children.
