O.K. now to finish this mornings post.... Josie woke up having a fit so blogging had to wait.
Anyway, Also last week our sweet baby girl left to be with her mom. It was everbit as terrible as I sure hoped it wouldn't be but we made it through and I wouldn't change one thing for the time we had with her. She added so much to our family, to our faith, to our friends. I just pray she always knows what a blessing from GOd she is. Strangly, after the first initial day of heartache, GOd has given me an amazing peace just like he promised!
Baby girl as of now though will be returning back to us in about 51 days! if all goes well and as planned. As I have said before I can't discuss her on this site but please remember her in your prayers. We know the Lord has particular plans for her life and we just pray that the peace will continue and he will direct our path to his perfect plan.

Alot of change in a week!

Christian left on his mission trip yesterday and is loving it! And to reminds of that God handles even the very little details.... My fear for the trip was sending my 14 year old on a airplane by himself, well God knew that and placed a very special person to stand in the Gap for me and she doesn't even realize I am sure. He placed a lady about my age in the seat right beside him that told him when she was his age she used to go on mission trips with get this the very same organization!!! and that her church's mission focus this year is the Dominican Republic! Wow, he doesn't forget anything for his children.

What a blessing.

How much of the Bible do we live?

This is a little something out of my Sunday school lessons for this week that I was so impressed!
Christian maturity is not measured by how much we know the Bible we know. It is measured by how much of the Bible we live. Knowledge without obedience really is the defination of spiritual immaturity.

Fun Weekend Stuff

We had a busy weekend but we had lots of fun! Josie was a flower girl in a wedding and I thought it could be desaterious becuase it was right in the middle of nap time but it went very well. She was absolutely beautiful and loved it. There had to be the cutest kids ever in this wedding. Then since she was a good girl we went to a festival were she got to do her favorite "ride a horsey" FUn Fun only thing was they were so little she was a little scared I guess she had never seen a horse that little so she wasn't sure if that was even a horse!
Sunday morning then Christian did his first speaking in a church. He created his own power-point and shared about going on his mission trip. About what he would be doing there and what led him to want to do that. It was a blessing and especially for a proud momma. The Lord has provided abundantly for his trip and I will say that I am no longer surprised when he does that.
Tommorrow sadly though baby girl goes back to momma. There is going to be a grand canyon of a whole in our house and our hearts. Please pray for us! and her and mom.

Pedro

yeah yeah yeah!!!! I just booked a flight for Carrol to go see Pedro! we found out this week that Pedro's 6th grade graduation which we found out to be a really big deal there, he were's a suit and all.... So our son won't have to spend one more special event not having a parent there for him. when we found out all I could think about was a child not having someone of his own there for him, I would be sick if I missed one thing of my kids here and from now on he is no different! Sadly though I cannot make this trip becuase that is the same day we get to pick christian up from his big trip, so i guess this is just another experience with having lots of kids, but both of them will Thankfully and Lord willing have someone there and that's what counts!!!

Also Our dossier is complete thankfully it will just have to be translated which takes about a week then it will be on its way! so hopefully we will be rollin on soon!

Church Camp Out

This weekend we got to go on a family/campout. It was so great, mostly just getting away, but we had some great family time, everyone did great even the little ones. It was even more fun for the kids camping with families that had other kids there age. Everyone had someone to hang with. It also does a church family good to have some good fellowship time, time you get to know each other a little more than just church. Anyway it finally felt like we had some unwind time and it was so needed.

On another note, today Pedro is really on my heart, last night at the grocery store I got asked how many kids I had... well technically that is 3 but that number just didn't seem right, strange I know that I would feel 3 is not enough, but I guess that is just the Lord preparing me, but I am really ready to head to Mexico!

It's been a very busy week!

what a busy week it has been. well actually the last 2 weeks have been about as action packed as I can stand. last week was busy of course with just a house full and the last days of school and a busy week getting Pedro business done which felt very good. Hopefully we are just weeks away from seeing him again.
Then this week! This weeks has been baby girls week. We had 2 doctors visits, our first shots, well child checks, formula changes, and last but not least we visited with birth mom. It went well and moms progress is pretty good right now. As it looks now baby girl will be leaving us on the 17th of June. PLease pray for all of us involved. We love this baby girl so much and deeply desire the best for her.
Even more detremental, if I spelled that big word right, Christians mission trip is just around the corner so the week I lose my baby girl he will also be going away, So I am not sure if my heart can take all of that at once.
Please pray for Christian, specifically for his safety and that his heart will be prepared for what the Lord has to show him on this major leap of faith trip. we found out today he will specifically be working on a orphange their in Dominican Republic and well also be working with refugees from Haiti. So I don't believe he has ever seen anything in comparison to what this will be but I do feel in my momma heart he is ready.
so anyway BUSY is the word. Blessed though beyond words and wouldn't change one minute of any of it.

"If I then your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet" John 13:14 They were to "Pay it forward"

" Imagine how different the world would look if we gave the kind of love to others that God has given to us through Jesus."
