I do believed I have one of the most blessed families and and am so in love with the Lord who has provided that for us.

I have got to take the time to do alittle catch up. My brother came to visit with his little princess and his 2 little prince so I am going to share these cute photos.
I would like to also share that my sister-in-law just lost a very dear cousin this week. He was only 29 years old and the dad of 3 little girls. He suffered with a braing tumor losing his battle. Please remember to lift of his very young wife when you think of it I can't imagine how tough this is on her as well as having to explain this to such young baby girls that loved their daddy so much. jake and aliesha also need your prayers this has been a real heartbreaker for them.
Remember today life is never garenteed to be here tomorrow. Are we making everyday count.

An amazing Blog

I have come across the most amazing blog of a 19 year old girl with the most amazing heart and faithfullness at such a young age. Christians favorite christian song is "Give me you eyes" well this girl has definatly opened herself up to seeing through Gods eyes and by reading her blog you will be so amazed as I am. I am in awe at how her parents must feel to have a daughter with such a servant heart and also how hard it would have to be to let such a young child of theirs to live in such conditions and so far away. As we consider moving our family onto the mission feild and all the what ifs we think about I think of what a priviledge it will be to serve and be able to spend everyday with my children because someday the Lord may ask my children to go so I don't want to waste a minute I have with them and by reading this blog as hard as it would be to let go could you imagine knowing you raised this child that had this amount of faith and the love for God to actually go themselves. Giving up all the practicle and comfortable things of home just to serve God faithfully. It doesn't sound like this young lady would ever regret it.

This was just what I needed today! The lord sent a 19 year old girls story to speak to me today. what a insiration. I will encourage you to check out this blog. It will shake you about what your holding back for the Lord.

Trip # 1 Mexico

Boys at the childrens home

Possible future Casa

Well we made it home but I am not sure I can put into words in a public place just all that is going through our heads now without sounding to crazy so I am just going to post pictures and say that the Lord is definately working. he definatly showed us where there is a definate need and honestly we do feel we could fill that need and would definatly be in a feild we have many strong points but I guess as reality sets in and the posibility that this may indeed be were God wants us it is beginning to scare us honestly. Its easier saying yes when its an idea but when you begin to see it as a reality it begins to shake things up.

were here!

We are here! On our Mexico adventure. It was dark when we arrived so we weren't able to see alot around us but so far so good. i became a nervous wreck about 2 hours short of getting here just soaking up what we are really considering. We are still excited though and we just hope to let the Lord have his way with us while were here. i am already prepared that I will probably spend my next few days in tears as I have to look into peoples faces expecially children that have so little. Please remember to lift our names up to the Lord if you think about it. we are praying for the Lord to specifically show us,as Carrol says in black and white, if this is where he wants us. Anyway i hoped to get to blog everyday while we are here but we will most likely be staying in a place in Mexico the next few days that I am sure most likely won't have internet access.

To my kids I miss you so much already! I am so sorry Corie that I am not there while your sick, Christian kick bootie tommorrow at your game. And to my Josie girl, momma will be right back!

Jonah

God's choice of workers rarely fall along the lines of human logic. God wanted to have his words preached in the capitol city of Assyria. He wanted the people of Nineveh, who were pagans and also Isreal's enemy, to humble themselves and repent. And so he picked a prejudiced, stubborn, complaining man to be his mouthpeice. Jonah didn't want the job from the start. But God wanted Jonah, and he pursued him when he could have washed his hands of him and chosen someone else.
Jonah's story illistrates God's boundless love. We see God reaching across the boundries of Isreal into enemy territory. We see him reaching into the depths fo the sea to save a rebellious man. And we see him patiently working with Jonah, and working with him again, to help him understand something of that boundless love. Jonah may not be the most admirable prophet God used, but he is exceedingly human. And it is humans, including women like you and I, that God uses to do his work!

I finally have a minute and now I am even in the mood to elaborate alittle more on our search to find God's will for us concerning the mission field.
First of all I want to share that we have felt this stirring in our hearts for several years but it wasn't until the trips we made to Guatemala that the Lord started showing us and giving us the desire to serve Him wherever he may need us.We know God will only show us as little or as much at a time what we can handle in order to move forward in his purpose. Guatemala showed us first that God's plans are so much bigger than what we can plan for ourselves and that if doing his will is as awesome as of a reward as we recieved by having 3 months to share as a family in Guatemala than it will definalty be worth it because let my family tell you that No material thing is as good as the peace, love, excitement that the Lord has shown us in the last 2 years even counting all the stress and doubt that we experienced waiting to bring Josie home. I can still remember like yesterday the pain I felt each time I had to see her sweet face saying goodbye to me as I left her there to come home to try to survive the rest of the wait but now as I look back I feel like if we had known all of the greatness and reward God was going to show us at the end it would have been like someone telling you what you most special Christmas gift was before Christmas then your left dissappointed because there is no surprise. That is what faith is, you have to trust that God does have the most amazing gift waiting for you, you just have to be patient and you will never regret it.
So yes we are now willing to follow God again, I am know getting excited, alittle nervous of course, but after so many years of wondering what the big picture or plan is we feel like we are really just about to find out and it is giving me such butterflies. Wow as I said that I felt like a young girl smittin on a new cute guy. Thats so awesome I guess you could say I am smittin for the Lord and can't wait to see Him!
So here is a quick breifing on what is going on. Of course our first desire was to serve in Guatemala, that door was shut for now, then we were offered Haiti, which has an overwelming need and still the door has not completely shut on that, so if anyone has a strong hearts desire for Haiti and would be interested in serving with children there please contact me or Kids Alive International, but because we feel such a connection with Latin America, another door has opened and we feel we have to follow through with that first and see where it leads.
So now..... Next Wednesday we are headed to MEXICO!!! so please say a prayer for us that the Lord will give us a clear direction yes or no and we will just continue to serve even if he just allows us to stay right here in---- and adopt more babies!!

Proverbs 19:21

Many are the plans in a man't heart,
but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails.
