Christmas Eve

I believe this Christmas Eve and Christmas day both have been the most relaxing ones Ever! Which makes them wonderful. We spent our Christmas Eve morning with my mamaw's family. We just all get together in a church gym, no gifts exchanged just a great big ole breakfast and great family fun. And it was great, we played basketball which we are all to out of shape for. Then the rest of the afternoon was just to relax and that's what we did then we made a new family tradition of the kids making goodies to give away to family. they had a great time, I had a great time watching them and it made for some great pictures.

Josie with Santa

This is gonna be such a fun Christmas! Josie is so pumped, loves Santa, and is really hoping to see the reindeers. We had our Christmas programs at church today to remind us just what Christmas really is about and we are so thankful for Jesus! This is a season of Celebration everyway around. Hope to slow down and enjoy everyminute of it!

Corie and Josie

Saturday we spent a relaxing day just hanging out and since Pedro wasn't home I worked on making a Christas card with all there individual pictures. So Corie and Josie had a fun little photo shoot. It would be nice if I had a better camera and now the one I have officially is dead, right before Christmas, don't know what I am gonna do about that. Anyway  MY PRETTY GIRLS

Our trip recap

We had a awesome trip all together visiting Pedro. All procedures are done now, all we wait on is the judge to sign off and then we will travel again. He did say that he would like to get it done for us for a early Christmas gift which was promising just for him to say that but he did say he had alot of work to get done ahead of us so he wasn't sure. So this is the deal, there is a very small gap but if he should sign off in the next couple days it would still be possible for Pedro to come home for Christmas but most all office workers take off from Dec.16-jan.6 (yes, must be nice) so if we don't here anything this week it will be after the 6th of January that he will come home. So either way we owe much praise to the Lord that we have came this far and that we got to sexperience the things in which we did last week. We are praying that now the way has been paved for many other children in this area to be able  to have forever homes through adoptions. We get the experience of spending some time with a very special pastor and his family that was such a inspiration for us and to know he is there sharing Gods word faithfully in that area. We are so thankful to so many people that have been such a inspiration in Pedro's life. One's that have truely filled the Gap while we couldn't be with him. It is just so awesome to watch how the Lord does always watch over his children. He never leaves them and always will fullfill there needs. thank you Jesus!

Being with Pedro

We are with Pedro again today finally. We had great travels even got to fit in going to see "The Blindside" last night, so awesome and definatly got me even more in the mood to be with my boy if that was possible. we can feel God's presence in this trip so much. even with our rental car process, it has never went over so well. we got to the Ranch today and Pedro hadn't made it home from school yet, so we waited until I say him come walking down that road by himself and believe me I made a B-Line to give him a great big hug. I think he was very excited to see us. we found out he has to attend court with us tommorrow so he got to spend the night tonight which we didn't think he was going to get to, and since Carrol's english has improved we were able to have some pretty good conversations about some little deaper details that as his parents made us a little sad but so blessed to be here in this process with him. he is such a special boy I can't wait to share him with everyone we love and whom I know will love him. When we got at the hotel today I wasn't sure what was happening, carrol went inside to make sure everything was good and get us checked in and the next thing I know a guy was coming escorting me and Pedro in but not to the regular check in but the Elite check-in!!!! I walked in and my first thought was, What's wrong? but no, We were just getting extra special treatment and if you ask me where that come from I can tell you with 100% confindence it came from the Lord!! you see our Pastor sent us a special e-mail last night while we were at the movies just letting us know he had just said a special prayer for us and the Lord's favor on us! So tommorrow i know will be just the same! we will have his favor and Pedro will be home soon.

what a week?!?!

This is has been so eventful I feel like I am completely wiped out and I still have one more day of it. Anyway along with the awesome news we began with this week we got a new little angel brought to our house for a few days. what a awesome story the Lord is giving us with this one! She is going to a amazing home tommorrow which only the Lord himself could have arranged. since I can't give much info on here about her for my own families memory book I am going to say she is a precious 2 month old whom we have had for 3 nights. She is such a angel and everytime I get a new child in my home and they leave i just can't help but to think how blessed I am each time, yes I know the kids are fortunate to be a good safe home with a family that loves them but for us.. it's the blessing we get by being graced by there presence and the Love of Jesus they are wrapped in that you can't see until you see these precious children brought out of what they are brought out of the the grace they have when we have them. It is undescribible.
Tommorrow we say by to 2 little angels, one we had for 3 days and the other 2 months. I am very saddened to see our older girl go as she still doesn't get to go home to what I would choose for her but the Lord knows and I have to give it to him like it or not.
So after tommorrow, and after I cry for a while, then we will begin celebrating becuase we will be with our sweet boy in Mexico next week!!!!
Yeah!

WE have a court date!!!!!!!!!!!

I am just beside myself, the one time I truely wasn't expecting it and didn't even watch my e-mail all day I got the long awaited news. We have a court date...NEXT WEEK! Praise the Lord! Also we have the final signature approval that we needed that could have drug our process out longer, We Got it! SO the hard part is over. WE have a court date next week, the judge has 8 days to summit is approval then we are done just have to go back and get our birth certificate and passport which in Mexico we have to be there and do in person. The deal is we could and probably in a normal sense should have been able to have him home for Christmas and I know God could still do that but In Mexico most offices take off alot for the Holidays so it looks as though he WILL COME HOME IN JANUARY!!!! Funny just last week I missed my family Thanksgiving cleaning my house and setting up his room. How weird is that even with a 13 year old boy my eternal instincts must have been working. Also along with those wonderful e-mails I got a wonderful e-mail from him and I could tell that he is finally excited as well. What a awesome feeling. WHAT A MIGHTY GOD WE SERVE!!!!!!!!
